yo! haha shall not blog v regularly due to upcoming exams
first time in my life i start studying so early before the major exams sia.
usually i study 1 or 2 week at most before. haha
anyway partly is becuz i'm super disappointed with my results la
i shall do exceedingly well for A lvls!

anyway, i had the most memorable Mid Autumn season this year!
hahaha friday went out with t26
super fun la. think i'm more united to them now =))
then sat and sun with n399. went to eat ben and jerry's!
hahhaaha love strawberry cheesecake flavour!
then tuesday went out again. woohoo!
super fun la!! haha but it's my last holiday so now is the rush hours haha
anyway today, i was not intimidated nor sad that mel's "scoldings"
i was utterly disappointed at myself.
i knew what was to be done. but why didnt i do it?
why did i let myself get caught up with pointless emotions?
complacency... weaknesses... fatigue... things that had always caused me to fall time and again.
but i realised, what's the point regretting wad has already past?
i gotta stand up and be strong again.
learn from my mistakes and never commit it again.
i wanna go back on course,
the marvin who was super on fire and super hungry for God just weeks ago.
God i need more of You. i really cannot make it without You.

anyway, let's start with the n399 barbeque outing
wah seh, super eventful hahahaha
at first i met up with erwin's grp at amk mrt
saw ziyan
then end up all the girls in the grp went off on their own
so i felt abit helpless but they end up finding their own way there haha
super fun skating around and struggling to catch up with those on bikes
though i fell down many times
but i think i'm getting a hang of it
then after all the games and stuff,
i shared my life testimony for the first time in my life haha
quite cool la. cuz it's really telling the truth and realising God is sooooo good haha
yeap, we had 19 frens in the end!
so yeap, we didnt have cg for two weeks!
i miss playing my guitar. it's still stuck at sean's place after the bbq
last sat we had "So You Think You Can Sing"
hahaha super fun doing the poster with mel.
though she did most of it over the night
but the posters are super nice (good job mel!) haha
we cheered like mad when isaac and max had their turn
but most of the finalists were good
so i guess the judges really had a hard time choosing the top 3
but in the end max got 3rd, isaac got 2nd!
some guy who is really good named wind won
oh wells. but we also won 2nd prize for the game! ahha big hamper!

and n399 got 70 dollars ben and jerry's voucher for being the best fan call!
wheeeee hahaha.
anyway. wanna reflect on some stuff
nick vivulcic came to gave his life story to encourage us in svc
he was without limbs. yet he strived to bring happiness to others with his smile
i'm really awed and inspired by his courage and strength
i, too, wanna be like him.
i wanna take the joy of the Lord as my strength
and radiate happiness to others
even if i may be stressed or troubled or tired
i've got to be strong =)
and on sunday,
i had been a little tired from prelims and stuff
and began to felt worn out with all the cg stuff
though i'm already taking very little.
i felt that well, maybe i'm not up to being the next-in-line leader.
but i realised, everything God does has a purpose and reason
there are plenty of people who can and are willing to
sean... isaac... and all those people whom i felt were stronger than i was
but why me? becuz God doesn't just see the present.
He see how i can lead the cg.
not by my strength or power, but by His Spirit.
yeap. I can do it!
haha okok that's all for now. can't think of anything else.

woot let me update you on my weekend
saturday: cell grp! haha it was fun!
haha well, of cuz since n399 is in the house!
haha yeap and we gave mel a teachers' day card along with a angel clay bear sitting on a rainbow
made by Elaine and assisted by von =)

shortly after cg,
Mel, Isaac and i rushed down to expo
with me in my full formal attire
haha well reason for my dress code will be revealed shortly
then right after we got our seats,
mel started to talking to me about humility
cuz i told her how i felt during manhood meeting
i'm glad i opened up to her la
i really learnt alot from that
praise and worship. well it was weird jumping up and down in suit haha
but when it came to worship,
i dunno wad came over me, presence of God was soooooo strong
that i could really felt him closing in face to face
i just wept, and wept.
God is good =)
and after that I went up stage(that's why i wore so formally)
to represent LYL zone to collect the CCF(Certificate of Christian Foundation)
yup that's that for sat.
sunday. woot grumpy taxi driver right in the morning
nagged all the way from amk to expo hall 8
and gave a farewell comment that i was "lucky" he was in good mood O.o
yeah it was mel's SOT graduation day!
all the SOT students were so excited
and we got to sit right next to them
it felt super exciting haha even though we have to go through 400 plus names and their nationalities
sadly i only manage to capture Mel's pic
and their team won the best team in SOT!
wheeee haha LYL rocks!

So You Think You Can Sing Auditions
we went to support Isaac, Nicholas, Rachel and Max
they sang reeeeally well
i think they have a good chance of getting in =)
compared to many wannabes.
wish i had been able to join...
PaTH market! haha yeap i went over to volunteer with request from my cousin
it was really fun! it took quite a short while to get used to the store i'm tending to
but the people there helped alot! all of them were so nice and friendly
and Elim Chew did something that shocked me!
she saw the design on my jeans and looked at the brand and wanted to take a pic of my bum
ahhhh so embarassing la. i was there for barely 15 min and that happened haha
but it was fun la.
